Two Derby companies are preparing Greg James for a Comic Relief challenge, an eight-day journey where he will pedal a tandem with surprise guests. Comic Relief emphasizes that each mile pedalled will contribute to essential projects, providing food, shelter, and safety. HUUB has equipped James with specialized cycling gear, including shorts and waterproof outerwear, to endure the physical demands of the challenge. Mercian Cycles, a long-standing bicycle manufacturer since 1946, has crafted a custom-fitted, hand-painted red tandem and a blue backup bike for James. Additionally, they have provided four standard bikes of various sizes for the challenge's participants. This collaborative effort aims to raise funds and awareness for Comic Relief's vital initiatives.
