We are excited to inform you about the upcoming Kansas Reading Association Conference to be held October 3, 2016 on the beautiful Ottawa University campus, in the Mowbray Student Union, Ottawa, Kansas.  The Kansas Reading Association Conference Planning Committee is continuing to hold a special place for local authors to display and sell their wonderful books. Our theme this year is Campaign for Literacy, and we believe that our visiting authors, Donalyn Miller and Debbie Levy, will draw lots of educators to the conference.  We will have a dedicated exhibit area with spaces for exhibitors and authors.  To allow for maximum exposure to conference attendees, the vendors’ exhibits will be located in large atrium areas at the entry point for participants and outside presentation rooms.  Exhibits will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on October 3.

This year, we also invite one vendor from your company to attend lunch with our participants.  With each registration, one lunch will be provided.

As in the past, preservice teachers from the surrounding universities will be attending our conference.  This is often their first exposure to a conference, authors, and exhibits.  They are excited to build their classroom library and collection of teaching materials.  We look forward to having you participate in this conference as a vendor.
