JOIN THE 2015-2016 KRA PROFESSIONAL BOOK STUDY
Reading in the Wild: The Book Whisperer’s Keys to Cultivating Lifelong Reading Habits by Donalyn Miller
KRA members are invited to form small book study groups within their individual schools/districts to read and implement the ideas presented in the book. All participants must be KRA members and register their group by
November 16, 2015.

STUDY GUIDES: Study guides will be provided for each group to complete and submit throughout the study. The groups are required to meet a minimum of 15 hours throughout the 2015-2016 school year. Each group will be required to keep a log of their meeting time.
COLLEGE CREDIT: In order to enroll for college credit, you must have registered to participate in the state wide book study by November 2 and meet with your study group consistently for a minimum of 15 hours throughout the 2015-2016 school year. If you are interested in earning one (1) hour credit you will need to contact Dr. Susan Knell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All documentation of those meetings with completed study guides need to be submitted to Dr. Knell. In March of 2016 she will send you enrollment information and instructions on
applying for graduate admission, which includes a $30 nonrefundable fee. The cost for one (1) hour credit will be a special rate of $95.00.
AFTERWARDS JOIN US AT THE FALL CONFERENCE: The author of the book, Donalyn Miller, will be the keynote speaker at the fall KRA conference on October 3, 2016, in Ottawa, KS. Donalyn will also speak at a breakout session during the conference.
